One evening this month I got a call from Cuz and Jean. Apparently in the summer months, the cable car up Table Mountain operates at half price after 7pm. So we grabbed some Kauai and headed up the mountain the lazy way. This is Andrew and I at the top.
The view at the top were just amazing and we got to watch the sunset while the clouds slowly creeped up Platteklip Gorge.

On the way home again, Jean (the learner driver) (I have to make reference to the fact that she was a learner driver at the time because she handled it seriously well!!) (yay Jean!!) successfully navigated the car through the carnival that was travelling down Buitengracht street at the same time we were.
That was the first time I’ve been up the mountain and I’ve been here for how many years now?!? Next time, on foot…
