Saturday was a perfect day in Cape Town after the long weeks of rain. Sunshine and absolutely no wind, even at Cape Point which is a rare occurance.
Richard and I headed down to our spot looking out over the bay to enjoy the weather and a sushi picnic. |
Not long to go now until it’s warm enough to swim in the tidal pool here. It’s the perfect spot for summer braai too - if you can successfully fend off the seagulls.
As the sun dipped down we headed around to the other side of the point to catch a last glimpse of it at Olifantsbos. Oh I can’t wait for summer now!

Lovely images, that first one is very beautiful! Where was that taken?
1 | Craig Wilson August 28th, 2007 at 11:05 pmThanks! I am really happy with that picture.
When you get into the Cape Point reserve, you drive past the Olifantsbos turn off on the right and past the Black Rocks turn off on the left. It’s the next turn off on your left but I can’t remember the name of it. It’s great because even if it’s a seriously windy day, there is always a spot there that has no wind.
