Me, Rachel Swailes. My blog about stuff I get up to in and around the Western Cape, Cape Town, George, Wilderness, Hermanus and other cool places :)

Along with my lunch time treks across London, I’m trying to walk in the morning too. It’s far more enjoyable to walk the last stretch on the way to work to get rid of that tube-sardine feeling.

Some mornings there are sounds of a military band that float across the park, and this morning on a detour I finally found where the sound was coming from. It turns out that some mornings there is a changing-of-the-guard type ceremony in the Horse Guard grounds.

And the pelicans were in the park catching some sun before going off to harass some ducks.
