After Cardiff, we travelled with Martin to meet up with Mark (a rather hungover Mark) in Torquay. It’s known as the English Riviera and I can imagine that it must be a beautiful holiday town in the summer.

On the Sunday we were quite lucky with the weather and got to have a great lunch sitting out in the sunshine. We also went and found the hotel that was the inspiration for Fawlty Towers and walked around the rest of the town.

Monday marked the last day of the trip and we went to take the tour of Kents Cavern. The tour guide (Will) was particularly brilliant and it felt more like a comedy tour than a science afternoon. Below you can see some of the rock formations, and Martin being compared to a caveman.
