Mom and Ruth came to visit on their way up to Scotland. It was so great to see them!

Well, the photos I landed up look pretty summery, but most were taken while wearing a raincoat! We were quite lucky with the weather for most of the visit, but it still made coming back to London feel like returning to the tropics.

I took a week off work to join my folks with the family up in Scotland. It was a great idea to go by train - so much less stressful than flying and such beautiful scenery…This is Boris looking out at Newcastle, and below is the view of the sea close to Berwick-on-Tweed.

My folks arrived on Saturday for a weekend in London before heading up to Scotland. I had this brilliant plan of taking them to see my lunch spot at St James’s Park, but didn’t think about the HORDES of people that would be around for Trooping the Colours.
